Dirty Boots Presets Pack II

$129.00

Our most versatile pack yet, Dirtyboots Presets Pack II brings a little nineties nostalgia to your workflow.

Designed to make you excited about editing again, this pack of 8 color (10+variations) 3 B&W presets adds depth, personality and character to those moments.

With enough versatility to capture any occasion, our Dityboots Presets Pack II is inspired by the timeless soul of film photography. Expect warm glowing shades, cooler, edgier tones and a little something in between.

Overall, we wanted to bring back a sense of adventure and excitement to the editing process - aiming to cut through the noise of automation and overwhelm, our aim is to make editing fun again.

We didn't hold back with these presets, so here is what's included: 8 color presets, 3 B&W presets and 7 texture & mask tools. All presets are .xmp files.

Almost every preset in this pack comes with its own small “siblings” - intentional variations that adjust warmth, greens and saturation. Instead of fighting against a preset that almost works, you can simply pick the variation that fits the scene.

These presets make full use of Lightroom’s newest AI-powered tools. To get the intended look, please use an up-to-date version of:

  • Lightroom Classic (12.3 or later)
  • Lightroom Desktop (6.3.1 or later)
  • Adobe Camera Raw (15.3 or later)

Older versions may not recognize the AI adjustments.

Warm Film Tones

This preset warms up the image and reduces the bright highlights from the sun, giving the scene a more even exposure. Shadows are softened but still hold detail, and the overall color shifts toward a muted golden tone. It creates a consistent, film-leaning look without overprocessing the skin or the environment.

Subtle Blue

This preset shifts the overall tone toward cooler blues while keeping the scene soft and balanced. Highlights stay controlled to preserve detail in bright areas, and shadows are slightly lifted to avoid heavy contrast. The colors feel cleaner and more neutral, giving the image a calm, coastal look without overprocessing.

A Little More Warmth

If you’re looking for a warmer, moodier version of your image without going overboard, this preset gets you there. It adds depth to the darker tones, gives the highlights a soft golden lift, and pulls the whole color palette into a more cohesive, cinematic place. The result feels natural but noticeably richer.

These presets are not clean-cut, super sharp and minimalistic - they bring an enriching gauzy glow and depth that you can tailor to suit your style. We want you to play with them, adjust the sliders and use them as invaluable assets to further curate your personal style.

Think of this preset as a way to shift your colors into something a little dreamier the warm tones deepen, the golds feel less “sunny” and more “cinematic,” and the greens settle into a softer, sandy palette. It keeps the light feeling natural but gives the scene a warmer, almost nostalgic cast, like the memory of golden hour rather than the literal version of it.

35mm Night

Shadows take on a cooler, bluish tone, giving the image a moodier feel without washing it out. Colors become cleaner and more refined, especially in low light, and the highlights stay soft instead of harsh. It’s a subtle cool grade that brings more depth and atmosphere into night or ambient scenes.

“I truly love the presets!! Coming from someone who has used their own for 5 years because others just haven’t cut it, I really love these! I’ve worried about getting presets in the past because I feel like it just really depends on the users personal camera settings, but trying these in my own different lighting situations proved to be wonderful! I love the different colors and tones each pull and offer and they have a cinematic feel which I gravitate towards! Definitely, definitely worth it!”

@katrinscanon

"The presets are incredibly user friendly and versatile. I love that there are warm, cool, green and clean tones, it makes the presets work so well for different lighting and moods. The masks and grain already being included also make the workflow much easier!! The B&W 3 preset especially stands out to me, it’s one of the most beautiful black and white looks I’ve tried."

@joshuamanilla

“I LOVE these presets!! They are so versatile and you can’t do so much with them - I also really loved the black and white presets I think those are so perfect! I also think these are amazing for photographers trying to learn their style, it gives them a nice base for their images too :) These presets are awesome! I think they’re perfect!"

@peytonhayez

“I’m always a little nervous trying new presets, but THESEEE, I actually was amazed. I tried them out on a beautiful neutral lit beach shoot and literally all of them were basically a one click wonder!!! Which never happens with presets honestly. I’ll definitely be mixing these into my editing process asap! I wish I would’ve had these when I first started editing they definitely would’ve helped me learn more about Lightroom faster! If you’re shopping around for some presets, you found the ONESSS!!”

@reaganelainephotography

"I love switching up my presets when I'm stuck in an editing rut, and this DBMH pack does just the trick: easy to use, lots of variety, and compatible with both my canon and sony images! My personal fav is 08-love a good blue shadow for that cinematic look. My favorite way to edit using these presets is to apply the preset at 50-75% intensity, and play around with the color grading to create my own spinoff! Then I adjust for skin tones, and apply the grain preset included in the pack."

@photosbygowtham

"I was surprised by how little tweaking I needed to do. The colors and depth look amazing straight out of the preset. The grain option add so much character. They bring a beautiful nostalgic mood to every image. These presets feel incredibly cinematic. I love how they transform an image with one click while still keeping the natural feel."

@oui.photo

"I love the new pack of DBMH presets. My personal fav are DBMH03, 05, 06 warm, and DBMH BW03. They worked best on my photos, which are often taken in dim or low-key lighting. I hardly changed any color settings; I only added a bit of clarity and adjusted the noise differently. The colors apply beautifully, and the tones are very pleasant to the eye. The result looks like a mix between film photography and a cinematic image. Love it!"

@summersimmonsphoto

"The new DBMH presets are unbelievably versatile and each one adapts beautifully to whatever tone or style I’m reaching for based on my session. With just a few small tweaks they breathed brand new life into my older editing look. Obsessed."

@kyliejadephotography.kj

"What draws me to these prestes is the flexibility to enhance my photos as subtly or dramatically as I would like. I really enjoyed how the warmer presets brought a film-like feeling, especially when adding in the grain mask. I absolutely see myself adding these presets to my rotation!"

@tadphotos

“The new dirty boots messy hair preset pack was incredibly user-friendly and slipped into my workflow effortlessly! Every preset adapted beautifully to my images, from soft window light to moody Paris streets and the black-and-whites came out especially stunning and gave the vintage film vibes I was looking for. It’s rare for a pack to be this versatile across such different scenes. 10/10 would recommend!”
